Public Art in Uphall and Broxburn

There are a number of public artworks in Uphall and Broxburn, all of which commemorate our shale mining industrial past.

Five of the artwork sites were part of a Grassroots Public Art project and the sixth public art site wasPublic art leaflet initiated and developed by local residents of both towns and funded by West Lothian Council.

The 'Out in the Open - Public Art in Uphall and Broxburn' leaflet by West Lothian Council includes details of the public art route and information about the following artworks:
